International Preceptionship in HIV and Infectious Diseases (IPHID)

IPHID provides intensive, advanced-level training in the clinical management of HIV and infectious diseases (ID).

IPHID (formerly known as the International Physician Exchange Program or IPEP for short) is designed for clinicians managing HIV/ID patient populations, technical experts supporting departments/ministries of health with policy formulation and guideline development, and implementers of ID-related healthcare programs.

Participants are exposed to integrated, multi-disciplinary approaches to facility- and community-based care within a rich and diverse patient population.

Since 2006, IPHID has trained 150 clinicians, technical experts and policy makers from major global health agencies, Ministries of Health and healthcare facilities in nine countries.
